Chris Hales has exhibited interactive movies internationally since 1995 at film/video festivals and art galleries, written book chapters and scholarly articles, and published cdroms. After completing his PhD "Rethinking the Interactive Movie" in 2006 he now holds the post of Post-Doctoral Research Fellow in Interactive Film at SMARTlab in London. He runs numerous workshops in interactive filmmaking at various universities internationally, including for "SAGAS Writing Interactive Fiction" He has recently carried out original research in Prague about Raduz Cincera's interactive cinema "Kinoautomat" from 1967.

Teijo Pellinen is well known in the film and video and artistic circles of Helsinki. His seminal interactive television work "Akvaario" was aired on Finland's main television channel YLE for one month during 2000. He set up the Sonera Plaza broadband channel and is currently MA-course lecturer at the Medialab department, University of Art & Design, Helsinki. In 2007 he has created a new interactive television work for the YLE Extra channel called Mindsaver which is controlled by using mobile phones.

Tomi Knuutila is a graduate of the Medialab department of the University of Art and Design in Helsinki, now working as a lecturer in digital media at the University of Lapland.
